Getting to the Museum by Public Transport

Malta Aviation Museum can be reached using the public bus transport (Arriva) as follows:

From: Bus No:

Pembroke, Bahar ic-Caghaq, Naxxar, Mosta
and Rabat 205

Circlular Bus: Balzan Attard, Lija and Ta' Qali 106

Arriva Bus Stops listed above are located right in front of the museum's entrance.

Use Arriva's Route Planner to plan a bus trip to the museum from other locations on www.arriva.com.mt

There is also a stop in front of the museum on the BLUE ROUTE of the Malta Sightseeing open top tourist bus services.

Arriva also offers a number of bus routes from other locations which stop at Ta' Qali, however these stop at bus stops located around 7 minutes walk away from the musuem,Malta Aviation Musuem has brown directional signs installed to direct you throughout the way.

Malta Aviation Museum is located on the ex RAF Ta' Qali Airfield. The museum complex consists of a large main exhibition hangar, another hangar dedicated to the Air Battle of Malta, two 200Ft long Romney Huts and other ancillary buildings.

The Museum is situated just in front of the Malta Basketball Pavaillion and the Millenium Stand of the National Football Stadium.

One can find several directional signs leading visitors to the museum from the nearby villages of Attard, Mosta and Rabat.

Ample parking space is available in several large nearby carparks.

Opening Times

The Museum & Museum Shop are open for visitors 7 Days a week from:
WINTER
Monday to Sunday: 9.00 to 17.00 CET
SUMMER
Monday to Saturday: 9.00 to 17.00 CET Sunday: 9.00 to 13.00 CET except Good Friday, Easter Sunday, 15 August,Xmas Day & New Year's Day

Adults:	€ 6.00
Students:	€ 5.00
Children:	€ 2.00
Euro Mini Cards:	€ 5.50

Special Fees can be arranged for schools educational visits.
